Who can play in the Summer League?

Players in grades 4 through high school, boys and girls, in separate divisions. Travel, CYO, high school, and AAU players are all welcome in the summer league. (Note: the fall Pre-Season Tournament is open to town travel teams only — no AAU teams.)

What grade does my child play in?

Divisions are set by the grade your player enters in September of the season year (so for Summer 2027, use the grade for September 2027).

Where are games played?

All games are played on college-campus courts at FDU Madison (Fairleigh Dickinson, Florham Campus) in Madison, New Jersey.

When does the league run?

The 2027 Summer League runs June 21 – August 11, 2027. Games are one night a week — Monday or Wednesday, between 4:30 and 8:30 PM. No weekends. It's 8 games plus a championship tournament.

How much does it cost?

$199 per player for the summer league season.

How do I register?

Registration is handled online. Head to the 2027 registration page to sign up your player.

Is there a waiver?

Yes — all players and coaches must complete an electronic waiver to participate. You can sign the waiver here.

What ball size is used?

Grades 4–6 use a 28.5" ball; all other grades use 29.5".

What are the uniform rules?

Home team wears a dark color, away team wears white. Teams bring their own basketballs for warm-ups.

Who officiates, and how are standings kept?

Every game is worked by two NJSIAA-certified officials. Futures staff run the clock and official scorebook and enter each result for live standings on the app. See the full game rules for defense, timing, and tie-breaker details.
