NJ High School rules apply, with the following exceptions.
Ball size — grades 4–6 use 28.5"; all other grades 29.5".
Two 21-minute running-time halves. Stop clock in the last 1 minute of each half.
Timeouts — 3 per game (30 seconds).
Foul shots — 1-and-1 on the 10th foul per half. No double bonus. 4th grade: shooter may jump over the foul line.
Mercy timing — clock runs the last 10 minutes if a team leads by 20 or more.
Overtime — 2 minutes, one full timeout per team, no carry-over from regulation. 2OT: 1-minute stop clock. 3OT: sudden death, first to score. No timeouts in 2OT/3OT.
Grades 4/5 — must play man-to-man; press only in the last 4 minutes of the 2nd half. Penalty for not playing man-to-man: 2 warnings, then a technical.
Grades 6–8 — pressing and zones allowed. Tie-breaking caps at a maximum of +20.
Playing time — please make an effort to play everyone in both halves. It's the summer.
Tie-breakers — (1) head-to-head; (2) points against, all games; (3) point differential.
All referee decisions are final. No protests.
